springtime!!!!!!

I've been taking walks and am getting ready for a long walk, from Madison, Wisconsin, to Chicago, Illinois, next month with Voices for Creative Nonviolence. The walk will be called "Chicago at the Crossroads: Turn Against War." It starts on May 1st and ends on May 18th. It will be nice to explore the midwest during springtime, when everything is blooming and vividly colored. The gifts of nature are reason enough to turn against war. I intend to bring a camera and a visual journal, along with art supplies. When I come home, I'll have much to share, both here and in my art blog.
