During the golden hour, daylight appears to be redder and softer. Filmmakers like this time of day because of the softness of the sky. Golden light is not only soft, it is also warm.
I took pictures during the "golden hour" for two days in a row (Sunday and Monday).
On Monday, I walked to the river and got a glimpse of the soft golden light shining on the water and just above the water. Here are the images of the sky and the water during the golden hour.

Golden Hour light is my favorite, especially when it reflects off buildings and flowers. Sometimes it can transport me into another world. The blue hour that follows it has its own charm, too. Love how the study of photography makes you so aware of the various types of lighting.
Beautiful photos! I love the sunset and sunrise. The goldenk hour is such a lovely name for it.
Those are some beautiful pictures. I'm assuming you have better equipment than the camera on your smartphone, lol. I'd love to get into photography, but, have to be content with my iPhone 7+ camera features.
