The 52-week photography project: fashion statements

Most of us think that the only people who wear costumes are performers on stage. I would disagree with that assessment. I think that we wear costumes that say who we are at any particular time or place. These costumes are called fashion. My concept of fashion is that it is all about personal style, about how a person's manner of dressing tells a story about that person. Fashion can be dramatic, subtle, or fun. It can be creative and imaginative. There is no limits to fashion. 

Taking pictures of people's fashion statements was great fun. Their fashion statements ranged from Halloween costumes to animal prints. It was all fun and colorful, and I truly loved my week as a fashion photographer.
