A Retrospective look at Christmas at River Lea
The COVID 19 pandemic has resulted in the cancellation of all indoor gatherings. Because the Grand Island Historical Society cannot hold its annual Christmas gatherings, here is a collection of photographs from years past.
Alice, how wonderful! I am moved by all your images here. But strangely I was most moved today by the Santa mug with the red handle (white puff on the end) and by the images of handmade food. I look forward to when we can have such gatherings again. <3

Outdoor gatherings would be very brief! It's so cold here!!!!
